Today I have created a video to present on the topic Eating, bullet point #2 from the Healthy Life Foundation Chart under the header Physical. The first 16 bullet points have an emphasis on self.
It's 9:34 PM, and I just posted the video on the importance of eating healthy. I felt confident that this was the most appropriate bullet point topic for today's video because eating healthy is essential to taking care of our physical needs. We are what we eat. Our body is our temple, and we should nourish it as so. Food is medicine. These well-known sayings reiterate the importance of paying attention to what we eat.
I have been monitoring my diet this week to get a baseline of my eating. Yesterday, I was feeling stressed. I can't help but wonder if the three donuts I ate yesterday contributed to those stress levels.
Today I decided I would not allow myself to binge on a sugary treat. I would also add a salad to today's meal. I felt this plan was blessed when a woman of God counseled me today on how to improve my mental health. She said to focus on my eating habits. Her suggestion to cut out sugar and add leafy greens was precisely what I was thinking. Wow, it's amazing how God will support us through people. I also purchased a supplement from her to help me through this stressful transition.
So far, this journey has been rewarding, and I am optimistic that this trend will continue. My goal is to get to my bed by 10:00 PM tonight. It's 9:48 PM, so I must go, but check out the video below.
