Viva Las Vegas
A town meant for fun
At least that's what they thought
When they went to the concert that night
Music playing
Love should be the game
Instead of a random roulette of violence
From the hotel room at Mandalay Bay
Love Instead of Bullets
Route 91 Harvest
A historic moment, but why?
Where did we go wrong in America
Event, Festival, School, or Post Office, Bullet & Cries
How do we get back to love?
How do we fight senseless acts that hurt?
How do we end this war on our minds?
How do we remember those that lost their lives?
Love Instead of Bullets
We must change this paradigm
Where did our morals go?
America why are we lost?
Too many shooting our forefathers call
There's strength in protest
We must demand more
Possibly spiritual enlightenment
From politicians, citizens, and those that lead
Love Instead of Bullets
Those weren't fireworks that night
How I wish they were
Those gone your voice lives on
Those hurt we see you
May candles be lit
To light the way
To heal the soul
From what happened that day
